
Sanjin Pejković holds a PhD in Film Studies from Lund university. His research touches upon film cultures in the area that once constituted former Yugoslavia. Pejković writes mainly for the Swedish newspapers Göteborgs Posten and Expressen and film and culture magazines, but also contributes to various international film magazines and film scholarly journals. He cooperates with several film festivals in Scandinavia and the Balkans.

Patricia Pisters is professor of film at the Department of Media Studies of the University of Amsterdam. She is one of the founding editors of the Open Access journal Necsus: European Journal of Media Studies and co-editor of the series Film Culture in Transition (Amsterdam University Press) and thinking I media (Bloomsbury Academic). Publications include The Neuro-Image: A Deleuzian Film-Philosophy of Digital Screen Culture (Stanford University Press, 2012) and New Blood in Contemporary Cinema: Women Directors and the Poetics of Horror (Edinburgh University Press, 2020). She is the editor of a special journal issue on Deleuze and Guattari and the psychedelic revival (Edinburgh University Press, 2023). She writes about the role of film and media in respect to (collective) consciousness. Her current teaching and research focus are on aesthetics of altered states and on elemental media theory. Iva Rosandić obtained her master’s degree in comparative literature and philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She is currently working on several projects in the field of culture, with an emphasis on film criticism and film analysis. In her work she is especially focused on national and regional documentary scenes. Rosandić is also the deputy editor-in-chief of two film criticism websites – Dokumentarni.net and Zona filma, the latter being the official website of the Croatian Film Critic’s Association, of which she is an active member. Her work has been published in prominent magazines and websites such as Hrvatski filmski ljetopis, Novosti, Kulturpunkt.hr, Zarez, Zapis and radio show Filmoskop.
